It Is The Will Of The Almighty

It's The Will Of The Almighty

It's the will of the Almighty
That oftentimes we are blessed
Yet we rarely give reference to
How often ..we must confess
For God is watching over us
In Providential ways
To seek to lead us in the path
That leads to endless praise

For we are sheep who've gone astray
Yes all of us...everyone!
There's not a perfect man alive
No not one! No not one!
We all have need of Jesus
Who went by way of the Cross
But He was not beholden to death
Praise God He arose for us!

And now our eternal Resurrection
For hallelujah Christ arose
Where He awaits at God's right hand
As a testimony to His foes
For one day every knee shall bow
And every tongue confess
It will be impossible to hold back that day
The testimony of His righteousness!

O how I love that name of Jesus
For He is the life giving One
No matter whatever your means of death
He will raise each one again
What will be your offering then
For if on the Saviour you didn't believe
He will have to escort you out of His presence
And command you eternally to leave

Don't take lightly God Almighty
For His Word still stands secure
It's holds together this whole universe
For it started Creation sure
His Word will abide forever
There's no escapement of its power
One day the fulproofness of His love
Will be revealed on Judgement's Hour!!!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!

About the Poet
I came to know the Lord as my personal Saviour in January of 1972. I was married on Oct 21,1966 to my wife Linda who also loves the Lord. We have ten children and now twenty-four grand children. In Aug 2012 we got the announcement of the birth of our first GREAT grand child (a baby girl). I was thrilled to find others of like precious faith and belief in Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! What a Savior! I am presently living in Champion, Alberta, Canada but we are originally from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. That is where the poem Canadian Tribute to America was birthed. One Sunday as I walked across the city on my way to church I came to the top of a hill and looked across at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. After watching the events of the Sept 11 tragedy it was weighing on my heart and mind and the Lord gave me these words. We came to Calgary and when my oldest daughter saw this poem she said, Dad, whats this? and I said a poem and she replied Dad, thats not a poem , thats a song and she then went to the piano and began to sing and play it. The result of which turned into a song entitled, A Canadian Tribute to America which she recorded on CD. garyjamessmith2005@yahoo.ca
