Every Knee Shall Bow
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Every Knee Shall Bow

Every knee shall bow every tongue confess
That Jesus Christ is Lord
T'is the glorious triumph of God
For the honor of His Word
Not one single soul
Will escape this humility
God rendering to everyman
The Holiness of Deity

Man in subjection
Because he is a creature
The Creator as I Am
God as the Son
The final revelation
The whole world paying homage
Truly this is Jesus
The only begotten One

Truth has a benchmark
And it's found in Jesus Christ
The absolute authoritativel Word
Our Resurrected ...Sacrifice
His utmost for our highest
Hallelujah praise that Lamb
The kindly Shepherd leads us home
Who still is the Great I Am

I have full admiration
For such a Friend as He
Who loved this world so very much
That He became sin's Surety
And paid the highest ransom
The shedding of His own blood
To make us purchased...prized possessions
There is no greater God!

Friend how do you rate Him
Who died on Calvary
And left an empty tomb
To prove our Liberty
And bodily ascended
With witnesses to behold
This is not a puny matter
But outweighs the price of gold!

Your soul has higher value
Then you may realize
Truth cannot be bartered for
It's eternally stabilized
For truth is found in a person
And that Person is God's Son
Has your affection been nailed to the Cross
Then trust in the Crucified One!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!

About the Poet
I came to know the Lord as my personal Saviour in January of 1972. I was married on Oct 21,1966 to my wife Linda who also loves the Lord. We have ten children and now twenty-four grand children. In Aug 2012 we got the announcement of the birth of our first GREAT grand child (a baby girl). I was thrilled to find others of like precious faith and belief in Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! What a Savior! I am presently living in Champion, Alberta, Canada but we are originally from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. That is where the poem Canadian Tribute to America was birthed. One Sunday as I walked across the city on my way to church I came to the top of a hill and looked across at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. After watching the events of the Sept 11 tragedy it was weighing on my heart and mind and the Lord gave me these words. We came to Calgary and when my oldest daughter saw this poem she said, Dad, whats this? and I said a poem and she replied Dad, thats not a poem , thats a song and she then went to the piano and began to sing and play it. The result of which turned into a song entitled, A Canadian Tribute to America which she recorded on CD. garyjamessmith2005@yahoo.ca
