There's A Law Of Truth

There's A Law Of Truth

There's a law of truth of our God
And it shall never be removed
For He's  the fulfiller of His own prophecies
They are proven by His record
When He speaks...the world is silent
Creation knows of His name
God in Heaven...the Lord God Almighty
Is forever and ever the same!

We cannot fathom that He is the Word
The Word that became in Christ humanness
And lived amongst His own Creation
He came not too curse but to bless
He knew that the road to Calvary
Would not be smooth and plain
So many ups and downs He faced
Topped up with unbelievable pain

What compassion lay hidden in His heart
As He walked upon earth amongst men
What sorrow and suffering that He endured
While He experienced their rejection of Him
The Creator as the Saviour...
An unheard of truth for sure
But when a heart finds sure rest in Him
He finds the Purest of the Pure!

Sinlessness He wore as His mantel
Vigin born...yet not born of man
And  although He was always like tempted
He never succumbed to sin
Our perfect Sacrifice for sure
Behold Him...behold Him the Lamb!
Offering up Himself to die for our sin
Behold Him...the Great I Am!

Take your thoughts to a higher projection
Just think of God's amazing grace
Not only has He made each of its creatures
But came Himself to die in their place
His truth gives the greatest of revelation
And it's the truth that can set men free
Repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ
And be assured of your eternity!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!

About the Poet
I came to know the Lord as my personal Saviour in January of 1972. I was married on Oct 21,1966 to my wife Linda who also loves the Lord. We have ten children and now twenty-four grand children. In Aug 2012 we got the announcement of the birth of our first GREAT grand child (a baby girl). I was thrilled to find others of like precious faith and belief in Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! What a Savior! I am presently living in Champion, Alberta, Canada but we are originally from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. That is where the poem Canadian Tribute to America was birthed. One Sunday as I walked across the city on my way to church I came to the top of a hill and looked across at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. After watching the events of the Sept 11 tragedy it was weighing on my heart and mind and the Lord gave me these words. We came to Calgary and when my oldest daughter saw this poem she said, Dad, whats this? and I said a poem and she replied Dad, thats not a poem , thats a song and she then went to the piano and began to sing and play it. The result of which turned into a song entitled, A Canadian Tribute to America which she recorded on CD. garyjamessmith2005@yahoo.ca
