Don't Let Satan Crush You

Don't Let Satan Crush You

Don't let Satan crush you
And grind you to a pulp
When you have a God available
Who's more than willing to help
Call upon the One who cares
Who really loves your soul
Who can take you from your deepest grief
Bringing grace to relieve you...now!

What a loving Father
To not leave us on our own
But extends a hand of mercy
To lead us safely home
Lord make my heart Your habitation
Encase me with Your love
Cause me always to seek Your face
For Lord I know You're good...

For it was on my behalf You came
To bring to a resolution
The penalty for sin that I owed
You had a blood bought solution
Hear my hallelujah's today
I say them intermittently
Hallelujah what a Saviour
That Lord Jesus died for me

There's no excuse to not enjoy the blessings
Of living for God each day
When Christ did all the work for us
To bring us a saving faith
"It is finished!"...our Cross reference
Hallelujah the transaction's done
When I repented of my sin
I received His so great Salvation!

What in the world are you waiting for?!!!
Do you want to know true jubilation?
Call upon the name of the Lord
And immediately enjoy His Salvation
Behold now is the most acceptable time
Now while you're still alive!
May God be merciful to you my friend
May you learn to walk by His side...

Hallelujah what a Saviour!

About the Poet
I came to know the Lord as my personal Saviour in January of 1972. I was married on Oct 21,1966 to my wife Linda who also loves the Lord. We have ten children and now twenty-four grand children. In Aug 2012 we got the announcement of the birth of our first GREAT grand child (a baby girl). I was thrilled to find others of like precious faith and belief in Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! What a Savior! I am presently living in Champion, Alberta, Canada but we are originally from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. That is where the poem Canadian Tribute to America was birthed. One Sunday as I walked across the city on my way to church I came to the top of a hill and looked across at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. After watching the events of the Sept 11 tragedy it was weighing on my heart and mind and the Lord gave me these words. We came to Calgary and when my oldest daughter saw this poem she said, Dad, whats this? and I said a poem and she replied Dad, thats not a poem , thats a song and she then went to the piano and began to sing and play it. The result of which turned into a song entitled, A Canadian Tribute to America which she recorded on CD. garyjamessmith2005@yahoo.ca
