There's Not A Heart That Knows You

There's Not A Heart That Knows You

There's not a heart that knows You Lord
That can't but help to love another
For the cleansingness of forgiven sin
Gives us a love immediately for our brother's
To know that we have a guarentee of Heaven
Who wouldn't want to share that news
Imagine the gift of eternal life!!!
That'll put a Hallelujah in the pews...

What a Saviour have we
To follow in His train
Who only lived for others
Hallelujah for His name
Who went to the Cross in willingness
If it was in His Father’s will
In full obedience to the One
Who cares for lost sinner's still

Sin was dealt with in a fashion
That it had never been dealt with before
For the Saviour put its power to death
To defeat us for evermore
That's why it's a so great Salvation
Hallelujah for the Cross
The light of the world...the Lord Jesus Christ
Who gave up His blessed life for us!

What a motivation for service
For the way of the Cross leads Home
And every soul that trusts in Christ...Hallelujah!
Is never again alone!
He became sin for us!
Can you wrap your head around it?!!!
Brother if you know the Lord
Don't be ashamed to sound it!

You want good news
?...You've got it!
There power in the blood! Where innocence met Deity
And broke the heart of God!
Can you imagine the love of it!
Can you! Can you?...anyone?!!!
That God so loved the world that He made
That He sacrificed His only begotten Son!

Don't think lightly of the Cross
For the Cross is faith's foundation
Not an itzy bitzy religion
But praise God a so great Salvation
I love that I now love my Saviour
And that the Lord loves me
Have we a story to tell to the nations?!!!
Yes!...Praise God!.. Absolutely!!!!!!

What in the world have you been waiting for
You already have your orders in writing
Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel
With that gospel message inviting
Come O sinner come to the Cross
There's no other offer on the table
You might ask...can He deliver me?!!!
Yes!    Praise God!...He is able!!!

Hallelujah what a Saviour

About the Poet
I came to know the Lord as my personal Saviour in January of 1972. I was married on Oct 21,1966 to my wife Linda who also loves the Lord. We have ten children and now twenty-four grand children. In Aug 2012 we got the announcement of the birth of our first GREAT grand child (a baby girl). I was thrilled to find others of like precious faith and belief in Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! What a Savior! I am presently living in Champion, Alberta, Canada but we are originally from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. That is where the poem Canadian Tribute to America was birthed. One Sunday as I walked across the city on my way to church I came to the top of a hill and looked across at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. After watching the events of the Sept 11 tragedy it was weighing on my heart and mind and the Lord gave me these words. We came to Calgary and when my oldest daughter saw this poem she said, Dad, whats this? and I said a poem and she replied Dad, thats not a poem , thats a song and she then went to the piano and began to sing and play it. The result of which turned into a song entitled, A Canadian Tribute to America which she recorded on CD. garyjamessmith2005@yahoo.ca
