How Many Times
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

How Many Times

How many times does the devil
Put his foot out when we walk
To trip us up in our actions
By our every deed and talk
And rendering us disabled
Another christian casualty
To thwart our witness for Jesus Christ
Bringing us to spiritual immobility

It's a job just to be prayed up
To face the issues of each day
And all the ramification factors
If things don't go our way
To maintain a spiritual walk
To defeat the works of the flesh
Remember if you give God first place
You won't have to settle for second best

So many Hallelujah factors
That can help your witness along
A number of christian radio stations
That can give you both Word and song
Don't live in defeatist valley
But walk in His glorious light
Return again to your first love
It will bring to your soul pure delight!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!

Christian radio stations that have blessed my wife and I

Gethsemane Global Radio
Moody Proclaim
Bbnradio.org

All of these are 24 hr  accessible...give them a try

Moody Proclaim has a message on every hour on the hour  by former preachers of days gone by...and the songs?  Well the Lord knows what is going on in your life and you might just tune in when the one that can meet your need is being played and it will touch your heart with both the words and music...and hey...no pressure if you don't like it turn it off....ah the bliss of technology...as well...don't have a bible. .just google King james version old or new testament ( that's mine and my wife's favorite)...if you're new to reading it...just an encouraging word to begin in the gospel of John...that's where I was encouraged to read from...and guess what? That's the portion of scripture that helped lead me to come to know the Lord...and praise God. .technology again...you can always listen to the Word of God on line...there is a king james audio version as well...take the Word with you on your long or short trips...and again...remember...no pressure here...if you don't like it turn it off...o yes...might I just add here...ask the Lord to minister to your heart through either the reading of, or the hearing of the Word of God...the bible says....Faith cometh by hearing...and hearing by the Word of God...may you have a real blessing today by indulging in God's Word...like you would a good chocolate bar!!!!...ya right eh?....have a wonderful day friends...remember this is between you and God.  And the best advice I can give you..is!!!!

Go For It!!!!!!!

About the Poet
I came to know the Lord as my personal Saviour in January of 1972. I was married on Oct 21,1966 to my wife Linda who also loves the Lord. We have ten children and now twenty-four grand children. In Aug 2012 we got the announcement of the birth of our first GREAT grand child (a baby girl). I was thrilled to find others of like precious faith and belief in Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! What a Savior! I am presently living in Champion, Alberta, Canada but we are originally from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. That is where the poem Canadian Tribute to America was birthed. One Sunday as I walked across the city on my way to church I came to the top of a hill and looked across at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. After watching the events of the Sept 11 tragedy it was weighing on my heart and mind and the Lord gave me these words. We came to Calgary and when my oldest daughter saw this poem she said, Dad, whats this? and I said a poem and she replied Dad, thats not a poem , thats a song and she then went to the piano and began to sing and play it. The result of which turned into a song entitled, A Canadian Tribute to America which she recorded on CD. garyjamessmith2005@yahoo.ca
