Lord Of All Creation

Lord Of All Creation

Lord of all Creation
And praise God Lord of me
Help me seek some other soul
To share with of eternity
How a taste of Heaven
Today can be realized
And the destination of our soul
As well can be finalized

Nothing like a done deal
Through a handshake in the past
No relenting on the promise
The terms solidly held fast
All the promises of God
That are recorded in His Word
We can bank on them as Gospel truth
The outcoming of them assured

Whomsoever shall call upon
The name of the Lord shall be saved
For He is the divine Uppertaker
Since His Victory over the grave
And if we will but repent
And turn to the Lord by faith
His very nature we receive
That's what God's Word saith

Lord of all Creation
And praise God Lord of me
So thankful am I for that day
You went to Calvary
They didn't bring you dragging there
You went by Your own accord
Your love so great for us sinner's
You honored Yourself...the Word!

Open the eyes of blind men
Who see yet really can't see
Who have an obligation to God
To glorify Him as Deity
And recognize His capacity of love
So much so that He gave of His Son
The price that He paid for our sin-debt
Praise God for the Crucified One!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!

About the Poet
I came to know the Lord as my personal Saviour in January of 1972. I was married on Oct 21,1966 to my wife Linda who also loves the Lord. We have ten children and now twenty-four grand children. In Aug 2012 we got the announcement of the birth of our first GREAT grand child (a baby girl). I was thrilled to find others of like precious faith and belief in Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! What a Savior! I am presently living in Champion, Alberta, Canada but we are originally from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. That is where the poem Canadian Tribute to America was birthed. One Sunday as I walked across the city on my way to church I came to the top of a hill and looked across at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. After watching the events of the Sept 11 tragedy it was weighing on my heart and mind and the Lord gave me these words. We came to Calgary and when my oldest daughter saw this poem she said, Dad, whats this? and I said a poem and she replied Dad, thats not a poem , thats a song and she then went to the piano and began to sing and play it. The result of which turned into a song entitled, A Canadian Tribute to America which she recorded on CD. garyjamessmith2005@yahoo.ca
