When It's Felt

When It's Felt

When it's felt it must be telt
And brother I'm telling you
I've been cleansed from the inside out
And feeling totally brand new!
The love of God transforming!
When looked at in its totality
We are sinner's so unworthy
Yet He shed His blood for me

I am forever grateful
A grateful living one I might add
There's a new rejoicing in this heart
That one day felt so sad
And He that forever reigneth
Now lives inside of me
And glory Hallelujah's shall never stop
For Christ has made me free!

God is so good
To always be on the lookout for
Those who are lost and hurting
Showing that He's the avenue for
A new life in Christ Jesus
Remember!!!...He arose!
Death has no more dominion over
Those who know Him...praise!!!!

O I wish that you would know Him
He's still but a prayer away
I trust your inching closer to Him
Closer...day by day
There's light at the end of the tunnel
And it's only as you look and live
There's an offering of a Salvation for you
That only Jesus can give!

How about it brother?
Enemy, sister, friend?
It is only as you come to Jesus
That your burdensomeness will end
He is still standing!
In the fullness of Resurrection power!
Find your strength in Jesus Christ!
Make today...your Salvation hour!!!

In Jesus name I pray...amen!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!

About the Poet
I came to know the Lord as my personal Saviour in January of 1972. I was married on Oct 21,1966 to my wife Linda who also loves the Lord. We have ten children and now twenty-four grand children. In Aug 2012 we got the announcement of the birth of our first GREAT grand child (a baby girl). I was thrilled to find others of like precious faith and belief in Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! What a Savior! I am presently living in Champion, Alberta, Canada but we are originally from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. That is where the poem Canadian Tribute to America was birthed. One Sunday as I walked across the city on my way to church I came to the top of a hill and looked across at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. After watching the events of the Sept 11 tragedy it was weighing on my heart and mind and the Lord gave me these words. We came to Calgary and when my oldest daughter saw this poem she said, Dad, whats this? and I said a poem and she replied Dad, thats not a poem , thats a song and she then went to the piano and began to sing and play it. The result of which turned into a song entitled, A Canadian Tribute to America which she recorded on CD. garyjamessmith2005@yahoo.ca
