Touch The Master

Touch the Master with your heart
And watch the transformation
You can be healed today...hallelujah!
And enjoy His so great Salvation...
He's the Resurrection and the Life
With all the power in both earth and in Heaven
When you call upon His name you can be saved
And hallelujah... your sins can be forgiven!

He is more than willing to save you
Faith makes it all possible
For without it you can never please God
He wants you to give Him your all
God will hear your prayer my friend
For He's everywhere present you know
He has been waiting to hear voice
Today will you let Him know!

As long as God lives you are never alone
For the One who's created this earth
Has a Spiritual life available to you
And it comes by way of new birth
Seek ye the Lord while He may be found
Call upon Him while He is yet near
For the Son of God has come to seek and to save...
Your hallelujah is ever near!

Repent of your sin and turn now to God
His Word is of Highest evaluation
For the Word became flesh and dwelt amongst us
Praise God for His so great Salvation...
Don't let Satan deceive you as Eve
And offer to enlighten your mind
There's only one name to break sins bondage
Praise God He's One of a kind!

Remember the prodigal son
And the journey of his demise
But when he finally came to his senses
He put his hog pen living aside
Come home...come home...there's a Father awaiting
With open arms to bless
Come with all your unworthy feelings
And enjoy God's righteousness!

To God be all the glory
For look what He has done
He sent His Son into a sin stained world
As an offering for each one
No greater offering ever was given
For it was an offering of great love
Look!...look!...look to the Lamb
And come and know your God!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!

About the Poet
I came to know the Lord as my personal Saviour in January of 1972. I was married on Oct 21,1966 to my wife Linda who also loves the Lord. We have ten children and now twenty-four grand children. In Aug 2012 we got the announcement of the birth of our first GREAT grand child (a baby girl). I was thrilled to find others of like precious faith and belief in Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! What a Savior! I am presently living in Champion, Alberta, Canada but we are originally from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. That is where the poem Canadian Tribute to America was birthed. One Sunday as I walked across the city on my way to church I came to the top of a hill and looked across at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. After watching the events of the Sept 11 tragedy it was weighing on my heart and mind and the Lord gave me these words. We came to Calgary and when my oldest daughter saw this poem she said, Dad, whats this? and I said a poem and she replied Dad, thats not a poem , thats a song and she then went to the piano and began to sing and play it. The result of which turned into a song entitled, A Canadian Tribute to America which she recorded on CD. garyjamessmith2005@yahoo.ca
