Long ago and Tomorrow

Even Eden was to be cared for…groomed.
It was never meant to be just looked at and used.
We are called to care for and groom the earth.
It was not God’s plan that it be broken and bruised.

Our lives show shadows of the Fall of man,
But we can also see the Light of Redemption.
Now we see in part but later, in full…
God’s plan from before Creation – “it has been done.”

God has acted and He is still acting.
It is possible and we’re so prone to forget.
Memory plays a role in the story.
He has a plan for each life in the future yet.

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
