Question

What’s the right question?
Does HE love me because I’m good?
Does HE love me because HE is love?

What’s the right question?
If I pray and give, isn’t that enough?
Will faith in Christ make me clean?

What’s the right question?
Won‘t the rules and my works get me there?
Is faith in God’s love and Grace enough?

What’s the right question?
Won’t my good deeds earn me Heaven?
Is faith in Christ the only way?

What’s the right answer?
Christ’s finished work on Calvary bought my pardon.
When I repent and believe, God is my Father!

I have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and delivered Himself up for me.  Galatians 2:20 (NASB)

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
