ACROSTIC

L ove is not a feeling -
O ne that comes and goes,
V arying from day to day
E ach way the wind blows.

C character keeps hearts doors
O pen to possibilities and
N ever ceases to hope and pray,
Q uieting anger and frustration
U nder God’s umbrella of never-
E nding love and patience.
R edeemer, King of kings, God Almighty
S tands ready to help always.

D earest ones may pass on
E ntering Heaven’s door
A nd leave us sad and lonely.
T hen we can know forevermore -
H e’ll welcome us as He did them.

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
