Living the Acts

                                            Living The Acts

After Pentecost many believed in the Lord.

The Apostles found a way to meet people’s needs

So no one would feel like “dying under a gourd.”

People of faith were appointed to do the deeds.

Living the Gospel should keep from selfcenterdness,

And help be Christ-centered, reaching out to the world,

Exalting Him always, shortcomings to confess.

As I meet daily life, help me remain unsnarled.

Satan will attack, so I need divine power,

Praying and reading The Word, my priority.

The seed planted, the Holy Spirit will flower

The fruit of God’s own Word in actuality.

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
