Respond Through Me

Respond Through Me

I’m learning to follow my Lord

As Jesus always followed His Father.

Seek peace and pursue it – one chord –

Standing for Biblical Truth, the other.

Practice restraint – let Him control.

Give unto others as God gives to me.

Walk in His footsteps on the whole.

Live out my redemption – Grace full and free.

Listen to Him – linger a while –

My aim be as His before His Father –

To show love without force or guile,

Bear injustice without hate or bother.

God gave me the Gospel of peace. Help me to share it.

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
