The Shepherd of My Life

The Shepherd of My Life

The Lord is my Shepherd.

How could I live otherwise?

In daily life His voice is heard.

He’s there for all our “hi’s” and “byes.”

The Lord is my Shepherd.

How could I live otherwise?

As young parents, we teach His Word

In busy lives of our “small fries.”

The Lord is my Shepherd.

How could I live otherwise?

Teens and our parents, too, we’ve heard,

Make us the “sandwich” tried for size.

The Lord is my Shepherd.

How could I live otherwise?

Retirement is golden we’ve heard.

Could riches, good health be the prize?

The Lord is my Shepherd.

How could I live otherwise?

Life has passed by us, youth’s “sweet bird,”

Now waiting God’s call to LIFE “in the skies.”
