Grasping the Truth

The Gospel is from the very highest Source,
And surpasses earthly authority.
If I donít accept itÖ awful remorse.
Iíll give it the highest priority.

Christ died for me to give eternal life.
Some question the Gospelís sufficiency.
The Sword of the Spirit cuts like a knife
To the marrow in its transcendency.

The Gospelís not just the initial act
Of accepting His gift of salvation.
Itís the A to Z of Life - itís a fact -
Way past beginning regeneration!†

I have no right to keep it to myself,
I am obliged to take it to the world -
Not to read it, then keep it on the shelf.
May His life in me flow in outward swirl!
