Thanks!

I wrote a praise and thank you list
A long, long time ago.
I remind myself of the gist
My gratefulness to show.

“The longest distance between two
Is that famous short cut.”
I thank you, Lord, for more or few -
Don’t want to name them but - -

I’ll think about it - write them down,
Then come back with a smile
To give my thanks - hope you don’t frown,
‘Cause deep thoughts take a while.

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever.
Psalm 136 : 1

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
