Arithmetic

ADD
My life THERE will be more
On the renovated planet
Redeemed - no sin on Earth’s fair shore.

SUBTRACT
No tears, no pain, no death,
No grieving or regret,
Glory to my Savior with every breath.

DIVIDE
Nothing unholy there in Heaven-
Nothing unclean ever there-
Not even a hint of Earth’s leaven.

MULTIPLY
I’ll have a holy, relational heart,
A shared, increasing life.
One million years is just a start.

In Christ, I can’t lose and I can endure.

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
