Made for Heaven

You cannot create Heaven on Earth
No matter how you try.
You can collect things - have lots of worth-
Pie in the sky - rolling by.

Solomon tried his best to do it,
Had to admit failure.
Treasures, things of earth, last just a bit,
No eternal allure.

While here, I long for Eternity.
I was made for Heaven.
It’s real!   It’s not imaginary!
LIVE there - no replevin!

“God has put eternity in our hearts.”   Ecclesiastes  3:11

(replevin is an old, old word -  see if you can find it’s meaning.)

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
