Just Thoughts

Life kind of resembles a smorgasbord
With many choices on the rise.
However, there’s much less satisfaction.

Are we like that old frog - heated slowly-
Heated until boiled to his death -
Happily living our days unaware?

Now completely unlike that poor old frog
Man chooses his own commitment
By consciously choosing to pay the price.

The person who makes Jesus his true guide
Has life-changing heart attitude.
That person is truly changed deep within.

That kind of deep faith replaces his doubt.
He grows as a true believer.
Wonderful, freeing joy of knowing Christ.

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
