Hope Is Mine

I have this hope, this anchor for my soul.

I profess, possess – His blood made me whole.

My name is graven on my Savior’s hand.

Before the Creation, it was all planned.

Christ’s promises are great and possible

And He’ll fulfill ev’ry one to the full.

God was faithful in the past and is now.

What happens to me is what He allows.

Christ lives for me now and He intercedes.

Before the Father in Heaven, He pleads.

Because He is faithful, I can keep on

Unswervingly until the Rapture’s dawn.

God, who has made me to live within time

Will some day “fetch” me to His realm sublime.

The world and all its people may fail me,

But, in Him, my anchor holds – that’s the key!

          Isaiah 40:31

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
