Knowledge vs. Perspective

Knowledge Vs Perspective

Absent from the body, present with the Lord –

That perspective alone’s more than earth can afford.

I may then know about events here on the earth,

But the pure light of God prevents worrying’s birth.

There I’ll be able to walk and talk with Jesus

About His Grace for others as He has freed us.

I can ask questions and He’ll never turn away.

Closer than here on the Earth, by His side I’ll stay.

I’ll be there as He creates New Earth and Heaven

In my new resurrected, perfect creation.

Former experience can’t o’ershadow New Earth,

Not forgetting, but relishing New Heaven’s worth.

God gives me glimpses of Heaven in the Bible

To fire my imagination so viable.

He has done that so I can anticipate it,

But I’ll not grasp every single little bit.

The Bible makes clear that all won’t go to that Land.

The Way and Gate are narrow for the Blood-bought band.

But all are invited to Christ’s free Salvation.

Confess your sin – receive – angel’s jubilation!
