I Am Who I Am

I am who I am,
But who am I becoming?
Which speaks the loudest?

I am who I am,
But are my values aligned
With words and actions?

I am who I am
As I surrender to God
And grow to trust Him
With my life and those I love.

“We will not hide them from their children,
but tell to the coming generation
the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might,
and the wonders that he has done.”
Psalm 78:4  (ESV)

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
