That Divine Team

That Divine Team

Jesus does not one thing all by Himself.
Whatever The Father does the Son does.
Perfect relationship is this Team’s wealth.
Love, by The Spirit, sets our hearts abuzz.

Trying to live in perfectionism-
Legalistic Pharisees in slav’ry-
Is futile effort in life’s alpinism.
Christ can free us and bring maturity.

Maturity is God’s purpose for me.
The Holy Spirit helps and leads and guides.
God’s Spirit can accomplish that, you see.
We all need The Divine Team by our sides.

“I can do nothing on My own initiative. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.”  John 5: 30

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.”  John 14: 26

I always tell my grandchildren, “I’ll pray for you when you have a test,
but God won’t help you remember what you have not read or studied.”

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
