The God Who Sees Us

Do we look for health, wealth and riches here?

Have these desires become idols to us,

Making the dif’rence ‘tween sadness or cheer?

Are things on the earth worth all that much fuss?

Are we completely absorbed with self,

Not understanding…oppressed mentally?

A God-centered faith puts self on the shelf.

Deliverance comes because He’s for me.

God is in Heaven for me and for you.

Christ is the reason I want to go there.

Peter and John and my loved ones, ‘tis true,

Have gone before me…His fellowship share.

“For me to live is Christ. To die is gain,”

For in dying, I get more of Jesus.

To experience His grace, know His reign,

Commit your life to the God who sees us.
