Creation Expresses Praise

I have a picture of an old apple tree.

Its trunk is strong and branches quite stout.

Spring blooms adorn and bring nectar for each bee.

It's just covered 'cause with warmth blooms all burst out.

The tree grows near a pool formed in a small stream.

A stone bridge spans beyond the old tree,

A church roof and spire showing where sunbeams gleam.

What a peaceful scene, the artist's potpourri.

He painted this scene for all of God's seasons,

Spring, summer, fall and wintertime, too.

Boys skinny-dip, glancing 'round for good reasons;

Summers weather supplies their very first cue.

In the fall that tree brings juicy apples red.

He pictured the boy tossing them down.

A girl catches them and later they'll be fed

With delicious pie, the best in all the town.

In winter the tree's bare; snow's a mantle white.

Ice covers the pool just for skating.

A horse-drawn sleigh glides o'er the bridge on the right.

Folks at church for a Christmas play are waiting.

This beautiful example...Gods creation

Is put on display in each season.

In spring, a sign of Gods rejuvenation

Of created things with order and reason.

He speaks soft in nature and skies of bright blue

Or loud in a storm cloud that thunders and rains.

Nature displays splendor in each color's hue.

Creation expresses praise for our God reigns!
