I'm Pleading - Help!

I’m Pleading - Help!

God, I’m wondering what is on Your mind.
You gave me much joy and blessing,
Then you went and “withered the vine.”

This is really rough stuff I‘m confessing.
Could it be from my sin and pride,
Or is this sent for a lesson?

If I’ve replaced You, tell me when and how.
I repent then down on my knees.
Forgive me, Lord, I ask now.

I believe in You who saves, and I pray
You will reach out and love through me
Those drifting in this world’s wild fray.

I want to reach out to lost souls around.
Help me, dear Lord, to understand
How to do it so You’ll be found.

So I ask you, my Lord, to help me, please.

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
