He Won Me

Perfect love that’s always the same
No matter what I’ve done
How could He have chosen my name
To win to HIS dear Son?

Not beauty or intelligence
There to win HIM over
He spoke to me and won me since
Holy Spirit hovered.

His Spirit worked within my heart
Repentance came one day
When I saw all my sins pie chart
Was black as black not gray.

8 For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;
Ephesians 2:8   (Amplified Bible)
