Enigma

Mystery – I died, yet live

by faith in the Son of God.

I’m at peace with God but at war with sin,

Still experiencing weakness of flesh –

Sin is still my enemy, but won’t win.

This battle is waged by my Lord.

I’m up against the world, flesh and devil.

But I live by faith – Christ has not left me.

He’ll always be there – overcoming evil.

I’ve appropriated this hope!

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God,Who loved me and gave Himself for me."

Galatians 2:20 (New King James)

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
