Why Do We Weep?

Why Do We Weep?

Frustration when we can’t accomplish –
The way is barred and we don’t like it –
Does God have a better way?

Why Do We Weep?
Is it fear of what may come along?
Is it fear of unmet desires?
Is it fear we’ll bother other people?

Why Do We Weep?
Is it intercession for a loved one?
Is it asking for God’s good mercy?
Is it thanksgiving for past blessings?

Why Do We Weep?
Is it just emotion for the moment?
Is it a sincere expression of praise?
God knows the heart & understands.

Why Do We Weep?
Some things can’t be expressed with words.
God always understands the tears.
He collects them in a bottle.

Why Do We Weep?
Do we mourn over our sinfulness?
His Word says we’ll be comforted
When we repent and truly believe.
