Impulsive Living

Esau’s values were skewed.
He gave much for little.
Hungry, his yen for food
Caused rash committal.

Hating his birthright
Until too late,
He saw his plight
And Jacob he’d hate.

His life was Godless
And this we know,
Don’t need to guess,
Paul tells us so!

God chose the man
Who’d give his heart
Fully to the plan.
He’d play his part.

Jacob wasn’t perfect.
A lie is wrong.
The long-lasting affect
Sill today is strong.

If impulse living’s
Where you’re at,
Values, misgivings
Just go “splat”!

Submit to God,
His authority,
Make His nod
Your priority.

You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with your whole heart.  Jeremiah 29 :13
