From Your Heart to God’s Ears

Impulse to talk to our Creator God?
Well, go ahead.  He’s always there.
He always holds His staff and rod.
He knows us well. His wisdom He will share.

Don’t wait ‘til you’re helpless to talk with Him.
It happens where you’re in trouble.
God reaches out when hopes grow dim.
The ways of the world can’t burst “your bubble.”

Don’t talk to the air when you talk with Him.
He’s not a thing in space somewhere.
He waits for you - it’s not a whim.
His answer may come while you’re waiting there.

So hang in there and try not to lose hope.
He will know when the time is right.
Trust His wisdom - don’t be a dope.
Tell worry to go “take a hike.”

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
