Thoughts From the Hammock

The hammock “creeks” gently
A bee buzzes nearby
Birds call and fly overhead
The sky is brilliant blue
Clouds move and breezes blow
Leaves on the tree flutter

Dreams!!!   ‘cause Winter’s still here
Time flies - it won’t be long
(Seems I was sixty last year)
There’ll be leaves on the trees
Birds will sing a new song
Ice, colds, viruses gone!

Hope springs eternal!

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
