This Strange Experience

A respected man wrote a book,
Said, we climb on the bumps.
There seem “bumps” wherever I look,
Producing groans and grumps!

Will this world get back to normal?
Will people recover?
Will life be happy - not mournful -
Good life rediscover?

Stay home day after endless day,
Look around - want to roam
Now, settle down - it’s time to pray.
Pretty soon you’ll be home.

May God help us every one -
Pray for those with great loss.
May needs be met when day is done,
Find refuge at The Cross.

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
