Christmas Bells

He heard the bells on Christmas Day
In the middle of war.
Mankind let the devil take sway-
Christmas not up to par.

As the world turns on its axis,
All seems just gone berserk!
We just don’t know what real truth is.
We’d like to disembark!

But let’s pray instead!

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
