Oppresive?

Oppressive?

I am not where I am by chance.
Difficult people - a hard life
All contribute to circumstance
Where I find myself amidst strife.

The Bible says not to worry.
It’s the providence of our God.
He’ll use even a cause blurry.
Keep on trusting - we will be awed.

God chisels lives in His quarry,
Shapes them to live in His presence,
Works by His power and glory,
Builds His church with coalescence.

“ Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father.  But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.”
Matthew 10: 29 - 31

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
