If These Keep Silent

What was predicted on that day?
That Messiah would come that way.

“Humble and riding on the colt of an ass”
Praise and due honor as He passed.

If we will not these truths proclaim
The stones will cry out - to our shame.

“Our Guilty Silence” tells the claim.
Properly spoken to our shame.

Where we are - school, office or shop,
It’s God’s desire we “sow His crop.”

The world lurches from side to side
Off of the wall and far and wide.

Dealing only with the symptoms,
Love, care - don’t let them be victims.

Man’s not the master of all things.
Man’s knowledge back and forth swings.

Mobilize human resources.
Put them under HIS auspices.

How can I be what He desires?
Only let The Word “light my fires.”

“ Some of the Pharisees from the crowd said to Him, “Teacher, rebuke Your disciples [for shouting these Messianic praises].” 40 Jesus replied, “I tell you, if these [people] keep silent, the stones will cry out [in praise]!”  Luke 19:39, 40  (Amplified Bible)
