Jacob's Heir

Jacob’s Heir

Bible says nothing bad about Joseph.
At just seventeen, he had to be tough.
God was Joseph’s coach and He was his ref!
Jealous brothers schemed - they had had enough!

All of Joseph’s brothers rejected him.
The father loved his sons and sought their good.
There was a temptation to envy him -
Malicious envy - they did what they would.

No separating Joseph from his God!
Potipher saw that God was with Joseph.
He labored, got promoted, did a good job.
God moved - to God’s voice he would not be deaf.

Only we can prevent God’s blessing in and through our lives.

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
