Cart Before the Horse?

This problem finds no human solution -
Shouldn’t we be evolved by now? -
Sin and death are ever Earth’s pollution.
Science can never tell us how.

Christ Jesus bore all God’s wrath for my sin,
So I can know God’s love through Him.
Deepen my grasp of God’s love through Earth’s din.
Otherwise, the future looks grim.

My sin is forgiven but not expelled.
I still have that old sin nature.
I know I’m saved and His Spirit indwells,
I’ll need to feed in His Pasture.

God’s wrath stays on one who rejects Jesus
And His death on The Cross for sin.
It is only by faith that He frees us.
Christ died my salvation to win.

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
