Come and See

Let’s give out the invitation.
Andrew brought his brother.
They each had their honest questions
When Philip brought his friend.

The Bible is all about Christ.
Jesus came to fulfill -
The promises made were unpriced.
He’d do all - give his life.

Christ Jesus knows me through and through,
Knows intent of my heart.
There’s no hiding for me or you.
Why would we ever try?

Follow the light given to you
And God will give you more.
It’s the way the first Christians grew
As Jesus’ love he poured.

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
