It's about the Potter

   It’s About The Potter

I write this poem to articulate

That God has a plan for ev’ry man.

The bits and pieces on each ones plate,

He’ll fit together as only He can.

I’m only a piece of common clay

Who will be molded and shaped for good

IF I submit to His perfect way…

Allow Him to guide, as I always should.

I may not do very wondrous things,

But as I give Him all the glory,

True joy and blessings He’ll surely bring

To this,  the puzzle of my life’s story.

The will and purpose and plan of God

Is my daily cross and I will bear it.

I’m guided now by His staff and rod.

He’ll guide, correct, and love and He won’t quit!

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
