Think about it - what is your dream?
Work hard,  earn lots, play your favorite game?
Is that really all that it seems?
At life’s end is that the picture you frame?

You enthroned as lord of your days?
All your free time spent to just have some fun?
No time spent thinking of God’s ways?
Your life just a monotonous rerun?

Priorities are what matters.
Holy Spirit guidance if you allow -
Going for what clangs and clatters -
Attention on me - not Him anyhow?

Refocus - not resolutions.
Renew God’s priorities to pursue.
Not attained? -  Look to solutions.
Forget what’s behind - press on - that's the clue!

“ For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world
that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son,
so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him
shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal
(everlasting) life.”  John 3:16  Amplified Bible

“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right, persevering,
and steadfast spirit within me.”  Psalm 51:10  Amplified Bible

“ I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly]
prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.”
Philippians 3:14  Amplified Bible
