Presence

Jesus was like a father to the disciples.

Soon He would be taken from them.

On Friday their lives would be in complete distress.

How can we live was their anthem.

Their pattern to live by was Jesus’ example –

Living without His being there-

Real Christian faith rests on Jesus’ living presence

In us, by The Spirit aware.

No “orphan faith” can ever satisfy the heart.

Christ promised them that He’d return.

In a few days time He’d send the Spirit to them

Imparting all they’d need to learn.

Father, Son and Spirit – true Christianity –

True presence of God in my life!

The fiber of my every day life needs God.

Without Him I’m just a housewife.
