The Answer

Why am I here?
Where am I going?
What is my real life?
Am I seed sowing?

What am I doing?
Where is my focus?
Am I just drifting,
Expecting hocus-pocus?

God created Adam
Perfect and upright,
Walked, talked in person,
Shared His holy light.

He’s not a robot.
He could make choices.
Evil invaded,
Brought other voices.

Eden had a door -
Choose to stay or leave.
They chose - disobeyed,
Punishment received.

Paradise was lost,
Fellowship broken.
That sin lies in us
By the same token.

Praise God there is an answer.

“For in my inner being I delight in God’s law;  but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me.  What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to (eternal) death?  Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!     (Romans 7 : 22- 25)

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
