Are We Quick To Cast Off A Brother?

"Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you."

Is something many Christians

 choose not to do.

At first someone may try to be a friend,

but you may said or done “easily offends.”

Rather than loving their brother

 in Jesus' name,

They refuse to talk to,

 or mention his name.

One day they talk to him...

the next day...they do not.

They pass him by,.without a

 second thought.

They smash his name all over the ground.

When he needs help…

They can’t be found.

it's difficult to be in this particular place.

Maybe wondering if you've fallen

 from God's grace.

No matter what others  do…

God wants you to know.

You're in HIS hands...and HE

will NEVER let you go!

He'll be there for you…

Each and every day.

Obey HIS voice…  No matters

 what others do and say!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
