We All Need God's Mercy And Grace!

We All Need God’s Mercy and Grace!

God will never bless an unrepentant heart.

This is where so many problems begin to start.

Many don’t think there’s

anything to repent of.

After all, “they’ve done nothing

 bad to speak  of.”

But the word of God paints a different story.

It says; “we’ve sinned and fell short

of God’s glory.”

God’s word also speaks of salvation

 and grace.

Without Jesus, we’re all in “the same place.”

God’s word says “our heart

 is deceitfully sinful.”

Christ died for us, and we should

 be thankful!

May the words of Christ

stir each of us within!

May we listen to his words;

“You must be born again!”

May we come to Christ

 with a humble spirit.

He wants to take our sinful life

and forgive it!

Won’t you join others who’ve

 called on HIS name?

Your life for is is the reason that he came!

Christ’ gift of eternal like is for all

of mankind!

Let’s all call on the Lord

why we have the time!

That is absolutely the only answer! Your last verse is the answer; "Christ's gift of eternal life is for all of mankind! Let us call on the Lord while we have the time!" He loves us! He waits with open arms for those He already loves to come to Him.

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
