Jesus Gives TRUE Love!

Jesus Gives TRUE Love!

“I love you,” often has a shallow meaning.

AS many get attached to what is “appealing.”

We really don’t know Jesus’ love for us.

As too often, we get filled up with lust.

We tend to attach love’s words to how we feel.

But in the end, we find out it’s not real.

“I love you” comes in many forms and kinds.

It’s a way of expression from different minds.

We will never know love until we love Jesus first.

We must allow him to heal our sins and hurts.

His love can do what no other love can do.

It can completely change and make us NEW!

Won’t you allow Jesus’ love

 to touch you today?

Won’t you listen to the words

 he has to say?

Allow his message of love to stir

up your soul.

In his love, you’ll be made

totally WHOLE!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
