To My wonderful Wife...

Thank you For My Wonderful Wife...

Thank you God for my beautiful wife.

And thank you for bringing her into my life.

Through every mountain

and every canyon...

She'd been my faithful friend and companion.

From the first time we met, years ago...

Words alone cannot express

how I love her so.

I call her "sweetie" and she

calls me "honey" too.

And I still like to say,

... I LOVE YOU!"

When I've been wrong and "out of place."

She has a word of wisdom and a special grace.

I wouldn't trade her for anything

this world could offer.

Nothing in this whole world

could ever "top her."

Thanks to God for this

gift you've given.

She'd brought much joy to my way of livin'!

If not for her...I don't know where I would be.

This is why I'll always call her "sweetie."

Thanks for her love, and being so very kind.

Special people like her are hard to find.

A special present

sent from God above

My wonderful wife...

I will always love!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
