My Heavenly Father Will Call Me Hom
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 0 time

My heavenly Father Will Call Me Home!

There will come a time

when I’ll cease to be.

My heavenly father will be calling me!

This body I’m in will be mine

 no more!

One day soon, I’ll arrive

 at “heaven’s shore.”

My body will be

“trading places”

I shall be up yonder...

With “angelic faces.”

One day, I’ll not have

 to ponder.

When the roll of heaven is

“called up yonder!”

One day, my life will

 surely be blessed.

As I hear my savior’s call;

 “enter into heaven’s rest!”

This time I speak of will happen soon.

I’ll be in a heavenly mansion’s room!

How much time you have left...

However you may live…

Won’t you come to Jesus?

He’s so willing to forgive!

HE offers life eternal and has

everyone in mind!

This is the day of salvation!

Now is the accepted time!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
