We All Need to Seek God’s Ways Of Holy Living!

As adults, we have many responsibilities.

But, it’s like many have lost any sensibility.

I’m speaking of being sensitive to godly choices.

There’s consequences of obeying

 the wrong voices!

God gave to us his word to be our guide.

It reminds us that we all sin and have pride.

His word teaches us that there’s right and wrong.

It tells us there are things that don’t belong.

Romans says God’s wrath is against all ungodliness.

It reminds us to seek God’s

ways of righteousness!

Timothy warns us of perilous times that are coming.

Without God, what depraved man is becoming!

Hebrews says without holiness, no one will see the Lord.

Ungodliness is something that no one can afford!

Isaiah says to seek the Lord while he may be found.

Let’s seek spread his message all over town!

Philippians says to work our salvation

with trembling and fear.

Let’s all repent of our sins to Jesus and be sincere!

Timothy says that Godliness is profitable into all things!

Jesus Christ must be our first love!  Our everything!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
